Craftsmanship and Quality Interiors that Your Classic Chevy Deserves
This entry was posted on November 18, 2014.
Is it time to refresh the worn seat covers and door panels in your 1955, 1956 or 1957 Chevy? Or maybe you’re looking for a complete interior kit (carpet, headliner, sun visors, package tray, door panels and seat covers) for an Impala, Bel Air, Biscayne, Caprice or Chevy muscle car? No matter what your reason, when it comes to picking out a new interior for any classic Chevy, there are numerous choices from various companies, and choosing the right one for your car can be overwhelming.
From the chair in front of your computer, they might all look alike. However, there’s a big difference between the best and the rest, and that difference is in the details.
Every CARS Inc. interior is made in the USA, stitched together at the CARS Inc. facility in Rochester, Michigan, by craftswomen and craftsmen who have been assembling interiors for decades. Every seat cover and door panel bears the signature of the person who sewed it. It’s a statement by our family of CARS Inc. personnel: it’s more than a job to us; it’s a testament to the pride we take in the products you purchase. CARS Inc. is not a cold assembly line of mass-produced products
It’s more than just pride, though. CARS Inc. makes sure that every interior component and kit we make is the best it can be. The vinyl we use is just as thick and pliable as the original, and has CARS Inc. stamped on the back so you know you’re getting the best materials possible. Our cloth material is made with the same scrutiny for quality and accuracy, and our interiors will look and feel great in your classic Chevy for years after they’re installed. Customers bring their cars to our annual Open House event with interior products that we made 10 and 20 years ago, yet they still look and feel like brand-new!
Even the smallest details and materials are the highest quality. The thread for the stitching is 100 percent accurate. Many times at the original factory, there were several thread types used in a single seat cover. We use the right one in the right place—even when the customer will never see that particular thread—and we duplicate every stitch pattern for factory original accuracy.
Every CARS Inc. interior item is made to look and fit like the factory original, and also meets or exceeds the original in quality and appearance. Our in-house die-electric equipment allows CARS Inc. to reproduce factory-style vinyl patterns exactly. This collection of tools and patterns is extremely rare. These are just some of the things that set our interiors apart from the rest.
Our team knows classic Chevy interiors. Do it right the first time. Do it with CARS Inc.!
